Numerous commercial/industrial/student experiments Primary Mission Objective:  Deployment of TDRS- E/IUS to provide communications services to spacecraft in Earth orbit, the space shuttle, and the International Space Station. The BIMDA-2 flew as a secondary payload in a shuttle middeck locker.
